This is the second book in the Briar U series. We have Brenna and Jake. This is enemies to lovers/rivals to lovers vibes with fake dating thrown in. Jake plays for her dad's rival hockey team. That adds another layer to it all. I really liked Brenna and Jake. I will admit some of the other stuff going on lost me a bit, but Jake and Brenna pulled me back in. It's all fake they say, but you can't deny the all too real chemistry between them. I will also admit Coach Jensen was letting me down in this one and I was shaking my head at him, but he pulled through for me in the end. That's the guy I always thought he was. The one hockey tv company just gave me the ick the whole time. Brenna could do so much better and deserved so much better. Over all I did enjoy this one.
