This is the first book in a multi author interconnected standalone series. I was giddy to see this series kicks off with a single dad and single mom romance. Oh my gosh Kiley's little boy Zander is so adorable! That little cutie added so many humorous moments in this book. Getting Jax's backstory it made me so happy to see the journey he goes on in this book. With the help of Kiley and her family he finally heals. That is one of my favorite parts of the book. Jax is such a great dad. He has a real strong relationship with his daughter and it made me happy to see him spend more time with her. I do love a single dad/nanny romance. Kiley a teacher takes on the role of nanny for Jax temporarily. She finally gets to see the real Jax and not the preconceived notions she has of him. He is so much more. That man has a heart of gold. He can also bring the heat. Kiley and Jax's chemistry is blazing hot. This book hits all the notes on why I love single dad/nanny sports romance. I appreciated all the make you feel good moments. The epilogue was the cherry on this book sundae.

This is the fourth book in the series. We get Keely's story, she is the PR manager for the team. She has popped in through out the series. She is a new foster mom to a sweet little girl. My heart goes out to Keely because her life has done a complete 180 on what she thought he future would be. In enters the newest player traded to the team and his rockstar husband. Spencer and Brayden are adorable together, grumpy/sunshine. When the big broody rockstar falls for an adorable kitten who is just has grumpy as him, swoon. That made this book a real winner for me. The guys with little Hannah just melted my heart. This book worked for me because Keely showed respect for Spencer and Brayden's marriage. They just wanted to add a third to their relationship. Right away you can see the deep feelings already forming with the guys, Keely, and little Hannah. I loved that it was shown how important it was that Hannah know her culture and that Keely took that seriously. Yes this book is steamy and intimate, but it also has a lot of heart and feels.  I think this is my new favorite book in the series. The characters had me hooked right from the beginning though it was a little rocky for them all at first. I love seeing how close the friendship bonds have grown through out the series not just with the players, but their families as well. A real special group they have with the San Diego Seals.

This is the last book in the series and it's my favorite. This is a book where everything happens for reason. There are sad parts that pull on the heartstrings, but so many great funny and touching moments. I just loved little Mila so much. I love how her brain works and all the questions she asks especially when it comes to their new grumpy neighbor. Alec has had very bumpy road right from the beginning, but fate has finally smoothed that road out a bit when Mara and Mila come into his life. This book had me hooked and I just couldn't stop reading. The characters really pulled me into the book. Alec, Mara, and Mila are going to hold a piece of my heart for a long time. Everything these characters went through they so deserved the ending they got. It made my heart so happy. Another part I really loved was the letters and journals of Mara's aunt that were left to her. She got to see another side of her beloved aunt even though they were estranged at the time of her passing. I highly recommend this one!!

We got to know Pixie and her adorable son Andy now they get their story. They deserve all the happiness. We have Brogan and his sweet little niece. The backstories for these two pulled on my heartstrings. Oh my gosh the sweetness of Andy with Shayna. My heart just completely melted. That little guy is the sweetest. Brogan has the heart of a SEAL to his core and we see it a few times. Can I just say his dad and stepmother are some the nastiest of people. It's amazing how small the world is at times. Also a kind helpful hand can make the most meaningful difference. This was such a good story of two deserving people to find a HEA after life has given them some knocks.

Okay I want to say I love everything Karla Sorensen writes and her MMCs are some of my favorites. Then I started this book and I was so skeptical of Archer. I wasn't feeling him at first, but my words to you are stick with him because he is a Karla MMC to the core. I quickly changed my mind real quick once we really get to know Archer. My heart goes out to him and his sister. One moment changes the course of his life, but also Remi's. I loved Remi and her son Gavin. She does great work at the dog rescue. All the different dogs was one of my favorite parts of this book. Archer grows a lot as a person. It's amazing how much of an impact positive support can be for a person. Remi's Pops is such a joy! There is heartfelt moments, humor, and heat. Oh my gosh the epilogue had the tears flowing. I'm not surprised this was such a good book because Karla crushes single parent and sports romance, but from what I thought starting to the end such different feelings. Also I may have squeed a bit when I saw a few Kings pop in.
