This is the first book in a multi author interconnected standalone series. I was giddy to see this series kicks off with a single dad and single mom romance. Oh my gosh Kiley's little boy Zander is so adorable! That little cutie added so many humorous moments in this book. Getting Jax's backstory it made me so happy to see the journey he goes on in this book. With the help of Kiley and her family he finally heals. That is one of my favorite parts of the book. Jax is such a great dad. He has a real strong relationship with his daughter and it made me happy to see him spend more time with her. I do love a single dad/nanny romance. Kiley a teacher takes on the role of nanny for Jax temporarily. She finally gets to see the real Jax and not the preconceived notions she has of him. He is so much more. That man has a heart of gold. He can also bring the heat. Kiley and Jax's chemistry is blazing hot. This book hits all the notes on why I love single dad/nanny sports romance. I appreciated all the make you feel good moments. The epilogue was the cherry on this book sundae.
