A new series by Pippa Grant with a mischievous cat named Fluffy, I know I'm already in for a good time. I loved Cricket so much. I won't lie I hated reading what she went through and her awful family. My heart just went out to her, but a blessing in disguise because she ends up right where she needs to be. Don't even get me started on the delicious single dad Heath and his daughter Lavender. Lav is so precious and so free to be herself. The imagination she has and the fact that Heath encourages it, swoon. I absolutely loved everyone at the winery. The work they do to help out ladies like Cricket warmed my heart. This book is hilarious and Pip is the main source of the comedic moments. I love that old lady. I couldn't put this book down. The characters pulled me right in. This is a book I didn't want to end. The journey Cricket goes on and the beautiful confidence she regains is inspiring. People who come to the old winery are looking to heal in peace and the ladies who run it give them that. This book gave me everything; heart, heat, humor, and a touch of drama. If you need a book to get lost in from reality this is it. You will have such a fun time reading this one. I really can't wait for more from this series!
