This is the second book in the series. You have to love a series that is surrounded by animal lovers. There are two great doggies Bebe and Cab. Lauren and Jean-Luc had me gobbling up the pages. Lauren's backstory just broke my heart and it made it very evident that she so deserves someone like Jean-Luc in her life. That man is green flags all around. He is prime book boyfriend material then add he is tall and tatted with a French accent, yes please. To see Lauren really blossom into the woman she wants to be did my heart good. It felt inspiring honestly. This book is full of all the feels. There were parts where I wanted to teach her ex a lesson. Nasty human being that guy. This was just an enjoyable read with two characters you can root for the HEA the whole way.
