Love on the Brain
Love Hypothesis #2
Ali Hazelwood
REVIEW:
4 Stars
I really did enjoy this one. I loved the girl power in STEM. Levi and Bee are cute together. I mean Levi had me with him being a devoted cat dad. I was rooting for Bee to finally get the big break to lead her to so many opportunities in her field. Ali Hazelwood did it again with me being a reader who likes dual points of view this first person pov from just Bee had me hooked. I could tell what was going on in Levi's head pretty well based off what Bee was seeing and hearing even if she didn't pick up on it herself. I did have to step away from the book for a brief moment because I was afraid of where my gut was telling me this was going to go and I really really didn't want it to be true. I loved Bee's assistant Rocio so much. She is my kind of people and I love her dark sense of humor. I just love nerdy characters so much. One of my favorite parts of the book is when Levi and Bee visit Penny and Lily. It made me wish Penny had a few more scenes because she was such a delight! A great read!

BLURB:
From the New York Times bestselling author of The Love Hypothesis comes a new STEMinist rom-com in which a scientist is forced to work on a project with her nemesis—with explosive results.

Bee Königswasser lives by a simple code: What would Marie Curie do? If NASA offered her the lead on a neuroengineering project - a literal dream come true - Marie would accept without hesitation. Duh. But the mother of modern physics never had to co-lead with Levi Ward.

Sure, Levi is attractive in a tall, dark, and piercing-eyes kind of way. But Levi made his feelings toward Bee very clear in grad school - archenemies work best employed in their own galaxies far, far away.

But when her equipment starts to go missing and the staff ignore her, Bee could swear she sees Levi softening into an ally, backing her plays, seconding her ideas... devouring her with those eyes. The possibilities have all her neurons firing.

But when it comes time to actually make a move and put her heart on the line, there's only one question that matters: What will Bee Königswasser do?
