This is now my favorite book of the series so far and it's going to be hard to top. I loved Kai, Miller, and little Max so much. This book had me at Kai being single dad and Miller being a baker. This books screams me. Plus Kai is a baseball player who has tattoos and glasses that wears his hat backward quite often. That man would have me wrapped around his finger. I just gobbled this book right up. The banter between teammates and the manager so good. Oh did I mention the manager is Miller's dad. That adds a whole other level to this book. I loved Monty so much. He's a great dad to Miller also their backstory melts my heart. I love how Monty really cares for his team as people. This book had me laughing a lot. There are so many funny moments. Then this book delivered on all the heart and feels. How Kai is with Miller and his son gives him total green flag behavior. I loved how supportive Kai is of Miller's career. Her break this summer and being nanny for Kai's son is going to prove to be the best decision for her. One of my many favorite moments in this book is when Miller bakes with Max. Such sweet moments and it brings her love of baking back. This is a must read! I can't wait to dive into the next one with Kai's brother Isaiah.
