First book in the new series and I'm here for it. This book is at it's small town best with it's quirky characters. This book had me at single dad. I just loved little Penny. Man is she a firecracker. I love her relationship with her dad. You can tell they have a tight bond. Wyatt's new chapter in his life is not turning out quite like he planned. Lark is throwing a wrench in it as well. Her latest job brings her to this quirky town and now she feels like part of it. I loved the banter between Wyatt and Lark. Lark is a little bit of a disaster. She has some bad luck that's for sure. I loved the sense of humor in this one. I laughed from beginning to end. Another favorite part of this book in the family that's created not only with Lark, but also some of Wyatt's players. Trust me you'll want to start this one when you have plenty of time to dive in because you will not want to out it down. I'm so looking forward to more from this series!
