Review:
5 Stars
This is the second book in this multi author series, but the great thing is the books can be read in any order. I just devoured this book. Delaney and Bishop had me at right at the start. I love a good brother's best friend romance and these two have a long history. You can easily see right from the beginning they have an ease about them that even if they don't want to acknowledge it yet is they are each others safe space. Things get quite interesting when they become roommates when Delaney's housing situation is messed up when she arrives for her new internship in Chicago. Sparks are already flying, but putting them together under the same roof they are going to ignite. You pretty much can guarantee if there is a cat in the book you have me sold. Yes Bishop may say he's not happy with Darcy living with him, but that grump kitty wins over that big old hockey player. Let's talk about what prime book boyfriend material that Bishop is. Yes, he may make a few blunders along the way, but we get to see why so we can give him a little slack for that. He makes up for that in so many ways, but the ending and epilogue are some of his best green flag qualifications for me. That all in full support for Delaney's dreams makes me wish I could find my own Bishop. I love the close relationship Bishop has to Delaney and Declan's parents. That for me is another favorite part for me. They treat Bishop as one of their own and it warms my heart. I highly recommend this book. Trust me all the feels, humor, and heat will have you flying through this book.

BLURB:
She secretly writes love stories.

He’s the one guy who was never supposed to be in hers.

Her brother’s best friend.
A playboy hockey player.
Her first crush.

She knows better than to want him.
He knows better than to touch her.

But when forced proximity puts them dangerously close, all those years of unrequited feelings and forbidden attraction are about to spark.

Sometimes the best love stories start with breaking the rules.

And these two are Playing with Fire!
