This is in the Cozy Creek multi author series. This book had me with the cover alone with the kitty on it. Then I find out it's a single dad romance and the heroine loves to bake, I was sold. This book right off had such a great sense of humor. I found myself chuckling through out this one. I loved Cole and Madi. Madi's grandma Gigi was a hoot! A favorite for sure. Then a mischievous cat thrown into the mix. This book gives the fall vibes and gave me a Gilmore Girls vibe as well. Madi's ex is a real piece of work and she should of let her sister at him. Madi and Cole are both dealing with some inner turmoil, but together they bring out the light again. I liked the bond Madi creates with Cole's kids. I enjoyed the way Cole and his brothers rib one another. Yes to some it may seem cheesy, but this is exactly the book I needed right now. Something light and fun with a splash of playful. I gobbled this up in a day and a half, curse the need for sleep.
