REVIEW:
5 Stars
Finn has gone in my top book boyfriends list. That man is going to make you swoon and your heart get all mushy. I just loved this book so much. The humor is one of my favorite parts of the book. The banter between Finn and Poppy was some of the best. The way Finn made Poppy feel about herself was one of the things I loved about Finn. That man wore his heart on his sleeve and he will do everything he can to prove to that they are so much more than friends with benefits. Some of my favorite scenes are with Finn and Poppy with little Sunny. That just melted my heart and also showed how true and genuine Finn is. This book had me hooked from the first page. This book may give me all the feels and the laughs, but boy does it also bring the steam. The chemistry between Finn and Poppy is scorching hot. The deep connection they have translates to the bedroom as well. This is such a good book that I highly recommend!
BLURB:
The headlines say I’m engaged to one of football’s biggest stars. There’s one problem—we’re not actually dating.
Finn Miller is my best friend’s brother, a professional athlete, and the most dangerously boyfriend-y man I’ve ever met.
He knows where to order my favorite drink. He carries my bags when I shop. He knows exactly how to make me laugh (and other things), while making me forget why
I’ve sworn off relationships.
Our chemistry? Off the charts. Our commitment? That’s another story.
We’re friends with benefits and that’s it.
Then one innocent joke sparks a media frenzy, and suddenly pretending to be Finn’s fiancée comes with a million-dollar opportunity that I can’t afford to turn down.
A few public appearances and one ridiculously expensive ring to pretend to be engaged to a man who knows me better than anyone? Easy right?
Wrong.
Finn is determined to make this feel real. And the more time I spend playing his future wife, the harder it gets to remember why I never wanted this role.
I had a game plan to protect my heart, chase my dreams, and never fall for Finn Miller.
Too bad he has a game plan of his own.
