This is the second book in the series and we get West's story. I already loved him from the previous book so I couldn't wait it dive into this one. I knew his kids were going to steal my heart and I was proved right. I loved Ollie's quiet nature and Emmy's take no prisoners attitude. I wish I had the confidence she has in life. When Skylar says she thinks Emmy will take over the world one day I believe it. Skylar and West's first run in is quite memorable to say the least. One of the many things to love about this book is West easy supportive presence especially for Skylar. Man her parents and agent are less than to be desired and need to swift visit from karma. It made my heart so happy to see Skylar just love life again, but to see her passion for music come back so inspiring. West and Skylar have such a beautiful kind of love that has searing hot chemistry. I thought Rosie and Ford were burning hot they don't hold a candle to West and Skylar. The pages burned up with those two. This book also had such a great sense of humor. I loved Skylar's bird Cherry. Cherry lead to many humorous moments in this book. Already looking forward to diving into the next book!
