This is the second McKenna brother to fall and book in the series. This was just as good as the first. This book brought out all the emotions in me. I loved how these two met. Their road trip was unforgettable and leads to something so beautiful. My heart just broke for little Bridie. In her three years of life she has already gone through so much, but those big tough McKenna men are just what she needs. One scene that sticks out is when she is playing salon. Such a meaningful moment. Decker's childhood shaped him into the football machine he is, but Birdie and Willa are going to show him there is more to life than football. Man Willa's mom is a real piece of work. I don't like her at all. It brought me so much joy to see Willa back in Calamity Falls with her dad. Seeing her find her truth path was powerful. Decker and Willa had the steam, but they are so adorable together. Don't even get me started on the deliciousness that is Decker baking pies. It's so endearing and hot at the same time. Seeing Decker finally embrace fatherhood touched my heart especially for Birdie. A great book that had me hooked right from the first page and I was sad to finish it. I didn't want to say goodbye to the characters just yet. I really can't wait for more from this series. If I could I would book a stay at the Inn in a heartbeat. It sounds like so much fun there.
