This was a quick read for me, but it packed a punch. It's a brother's best friend/best friend's sister romance. Also of history between Tessa and Trick. Trick is finally done with the misunderstanding and ready to make his move. Someone is threatening Tessa and it's makes it easier for Trick to make his move and protect her. I loved the scenes with Trick and Tessa with her grandma at the retirement home. Trick is so good with all the elders. There is some serious moments, but also light hearted and funny moments as well. It was such a fun read and don't even get me started on the epilogue. I loved that so much. Perfect way to end this book on. I can't wait for more from this small town. I liked the banter between Trick and his brother so I'm hoping to see more from Linc.
