This is the author's debut novel. It's a great emotional story. Cameron and Rosalie pulled me right into this one. Their meet cute perfection. This is a fantastic small town romance. Cameron and Rosalie's daughters are adorable. How they became BBFs right away melted my heart. Then this book takes you on a roller coaster of emotions. There is one part that ripped my heart out. I felt for Rosalie and Paige. You could feel the devastation coming off the pages. I'm not gonna like one part of this book towards the end I had to take a break. I lost my grandparents a few years ago so I would have been feeling everything Rosalie was feeling in that moment. I had to take a breather because it was such a deep personal connection to this book in that moment. Then I continued on and I'm so glad I did because the words Cameron said to Rosalie after resonated with me so deeply. It made me pause and think that I do that every day myself without knowing it and it's keeping my grandparents still in the present. What Cameron said will forever stay with me. Then in the epilogue Cameron just steals my heart some more and making me cry at the same time. Best example of prime book boyfriend material. This is such a beautiful story with such heartfelt moments along with the more steamier ones. This author has definitely gained a reader.
