First I have to say this is my first book by EM Chandler and I'm happy to report she has gained a new reader. I'm now going to be checking out her backlist. I was hooked right from the beginning of this book. My heart was crushed a little at first, but man the emotional depth of these characters. A beautiful second chance romance between childhood sweethearts. Then you have Silas single guardian of his younger sister. Oh my gosh, that just melted my heart. Aubrey is a little spitfire and I loved her to pieces. Silas' teammates awesome especially Rooks. Such a great cast of characters. Trust me when I say I couldn't put this book down I truly mean it. Silas, Oakley, and Aubrey have stolen my heart. Silas is prime book boyfriend material. He is so protective of those he loves. Silas and Oakley fit together like puzzle pieces, they truly complete each other. Everything that life has thrown at them they so deserve all the happiness and are so worthy of a beautiful HEA. This is a must read! This is the first book in the series and absolutely can't wait for more from this series!
