*`New Release & Review: Merrymaker by Kayley Loring`*

Title: Merrymaker
Series: Name in Lights #4
Author: Kayley Loring
Release Date: October 27, 2025

REVIEW:
4.5 Stars
This was such a fun read! A Grumpy/sunshine single dad holiday romance, yes please! That right there is a recipe for a must read by me. Then it's written by Kayley Loring who brings all the humor. I laughed quite often while reading this one. Cleo and Elijah missed their chance because life, but now fate has given these two a redo. Oh my gosh is Elijah's son a cutie. He has an old soul in his seven year old body. Elijah may be a big old grump, but when it comes to his son he is such a big old softie. Cleo is so life goals. This may be a fast read, but it's such a enjoyable one. A fun hilarious holiday read. I'm so glad Cleo and Elijah got their chance because the connection and chemistry those two have it would have been such a tragedy to not reconnect. The epilogue is so perfect and just the touch to end this one on.  I highly recommend this one!

Happy Holidays WTF

I woke up with a mild hangover and an alarm notification that said, “Check attachment in email Cleo sent to herself from my phone, Dummy.”

Your video proof of me offering you a temporary assistant job over the holidays seems legit.

The payment amount I agreed to was outrageous. However, I have a deadline to meet. Having already fired seven temps this week, I am inclined to give this a shot, assuming you are willing to start today.

Please don’t wear that saucy elf costume, speak in rhyme, or act all festive.

P.S. I apologize for the confusion caused by my son’s good intentions. He knew nothing of our former acquaintance and film school rivalry. But thanks for playing along.

And a very merry good morning to you, sir!

To your non-festive requests, I must say nay!

You can pay me in cash, starting today.

I’ll help you produce movie magic, while spreading Christmas cheer,

Despite your mockery of my theatrical career.

I’ll bring my balloons and my kazoo.

I hope your son can join us too!

So flattered you found my elf costume saucy!

See you at the office, Bossy…
