I'm so glad we finally get Clay's story! I've been eagerly waiting for it. It was everything I wanted it to be and then some. This MC bad boy has some cinnamon roll tendencies especially when it comes Baker and her little one Holt. Holy hot mode when it comes to Clay holding little Holt. My heart broke for Baker. She was put through the emotional wringer, but to see where she ends up, wonderous moment. A lot of karma dealt out in this one to my joy. After reading this and getting to know Clay's BBF Webber I can't wait for his book. Man these Truth Tellers have hooked to the point I can't decide whose book I hope is next. I always enjoy the epilogues in Lani's books, but this one just hit me different this time. I think it has to do with Baker's initial struggle she had, but the beautiful turn around. Clay and Baker are going to stick with me for awhile. It made my heart so happy for Clay because he has inner struggle himself on what he thinks he deserves. A great addition to the series. To say I'm excited for more from this series is an understatement.
