We got to know the Truth Tellers MC a bit in the last couple books in Lani Lynn Vale's previous series Semyonov Bratva. I was intrigued by them right off the bat. We get Chevy's story. We know his brother and sister from the same mentioned above series as well. This first book kicks off this series with a bang. I loved Chevy. He walks in the grey area of life and does what needs to be done. He couldn't have picked anyone better than Aella. If anyone deserves a turn around in life it would be Aella and her sister. Their mother is one nasty character. If you are a fan of Lan Lynn Vale then you know the men of her books don't take too lightly to the ones they care about to be treated badly. One part of this book just ripped my heart right out. Not gonna lie I had tears in my eyes. This book had me hooked right from the beginning. I loved the epilogue seeing these two several years down the road. I really can't wait for more from this series. A few characters I'm very intrigued about and waiting for some answers on another.
