Title: I Wanna Be Your Lager
Series: Brews and Flings #3
Author: Gia Stevens
Release Date: April 14, 2025
REVIEW:
4.5 Stars
This is such a fun brother's best friend romance. I loved the playfulness between Eve and Lach. It's definitely a whirlwind romance journey for these two. Their one night stand becomes complicated when Eve finds out Lach is her brother's best friend. There is plenty of heart and feels, but the humor was one of my favorite parts of the book. The gang at the bar is a big family and I so love that dynamic. There are a few curve balls thrown at Eve and Lach that puts a test to their feelings for one another. Lach made me swoon big time how he steps up for Eve. I could tell instantly these two have the deep connection that could make the long haul though it's not easy. This third bird book is a great addition to the series. We still have some characters I can't wait to get their stories.
BLURB:
He was a fling. A distraction. He wasn’t supposed to be my brother’s best friend.
My love life has always been a disaster, but finding out my boss—the one I’ve been secretly dating—is married? That’s a new low, even for me.
Before I return home with my tail tucked between my legs, I need a minute.
A wild, anonymous fling with a sexy stranger seemed like the perfect distraction. No complications, no strings.
What could possibly go wrong?
The moment I get back home, I’m hit with two big shocks: one, I’m pregnant, and two, the guy I hooked up with isn’t some random stranger.
He’s my brother’s best friend. Yeah. The one who’s looking at me like he doesn’t know whether to run for the hills or kiss me again.
Because just when I thought things couldn’t get any worse, the universe said, ‘Here hold my beer.’
He’s. Not. The. Father.
Now, we’re both stuck trying to figure out what the hell we’re supposed to do about… well, everything.
I thought pregnancy would be hard, but telling my brother–Lachlan’s best friend–about us might be the biggest challenge yet.
