Another great book in this series. I was hooked right from the first page. This is JD and the new veterinarian Janey's story. Boy the suspense in this one kept me on the edge of my seat. So many twists and turns going on. Along the bumpy road Janey and JD fall in love. I loved catching up with the OGs and the previous characters in this second generation series. I loved Janey because first of all her love of animals and then the inner strength she has. There are some very bad characters in this one that could test anyone and aren't for the faint of heart. I had to stop reading and take a breather a few times. Then I would need to know what was going to happen next. Well written characters that pulled me right into the book. I'm already eager for the next book in the series with the tease we got!
