Another great book in this series! A former baseball player and the girl from high school. I'm a believer in things happen for a reason. Grady and Scottie are soon going to see that in action. Scottie and her son's fresh start begins on a rocky road. Then throw in a little unexpected surprise things get interesting. Scottie and her son Chase have been burned before by her ex so Grady unfortunately has his work cut out for him, but he knows they are worth it. Grady is prime book boyfriend material. That cinnamon roll hero is going to steal your heart. I loved seeing the previous characters in this series living their HEAs. That made me so happy to see. Now Grady and Scottie along with their little family need to get one. There is plenty of heart and feels along with some heat. There are moments when this book pulled on my heartstrings. My heart went out to Scottie because she is afraid to risk her heart after getting it crushed, but a man like Grady is worth that risk. She just needs to trust herself in that department again. This is a book to easily get you hooked. I loved being back in Carrington Cove!
