This is the second book in the series and it's one that is hard to put down. I give major props to Nessa on doing the right thing by baby Remi even if it costs her breaking her own heart. Sheriff Jensen is in the shock of his life when he finds out he is the father to sweet Remi. That starts off a chain of events neither saw coming. You could see the happiness seeping into Nessa's soul even if she fights it at every turn. Her vacation in Blackstone Falls brings so much into Nessa's life that she never thought could happen. Jensen's friend group is still so awesome. They are hilarious when together. A scene that sticks out is the adoption event. They are friendship goals and how they take Nessa under their wing is also a favorite part of mine. I so enjoyed this visit to Blackstone Falls. Sometimes our found family makes life worth living and brings us the most joy. This book delivers on the heat between Nessa and Jensen, but is also delivers on all the feels. There is so much emotion. This book has my favorite combo of heat, heart, and humor. How everything works out made my heart so happy. I really can't wait for more from this series!!
