This is the fourth book in the series. Man for me this was one intense book. I would highly encourage to read the trigger warnings because this book shows the true struggles of mental health. I struggle with it myself so I knew what these characters were feeling because some days I do too. A few characters really struggle and it also shows the impact it had on their families. Everything Waylon had gone through had my heart beating out of my chest for him. It's hard life to live always feeling on edge. Then there is a light that comes into his life in the form of his ex's sister. Right there is an intriguing storyline, but you can easily see the connection that is formed. Harlow has been through a lot herself. There are plenty of fun easy moments along with the serious tough ones. Man the chemistry between Harlow and Waylon is off the charts hot! They definitely burn up the pages. This book takes the reader on a rollercoaster of emotions. The journey made by these two makes the end was so worth it. What Waylon does for Harlow's birthday is one scene that will stick with me for a long time. Waylon definitely has the romantic moves that made me swoon. Looking forward to the next book because the tease was so good!!
