This is the first book in the Snowfall Valley series. It feels like a steamier Hallmark movie which is perfect for me! I love a good best friend's brother romance. Well Emily with unfortunate chain of events has landed herself back in her hometown for Christmas. Emily and her best friend Callie are friendship goals that's for sure. Callie's little girl is so stinking adorable. Then when Luke is in uncle mode swoon fest! This holiday season Emily is going to see what is right in front of her and maybe there is something to the crush she has had on Luke  since her teens. Everything happens for a reason and Emily might find something even better is waiting for her future than what she expected. This was a great small town holiday romance. I gobbled this one right up. The only thing I would change is being able to get inside Luke's head at times, but no way does the single point of view take away my enjoyment of the book. It makes me want to dive into the second book in the series right away especially it's Callie's story with another hunky fireman.
