I’ve known Mia Powell since the day she was born.

She’s my sister’s best friend, my mom’s God-daughter and the mother of the sweetest two-year old I’ve ever met. Even if she won't reveal who his father is.

When she unexpectedly needs a place to stay, I don’t hesitate to offer up my house on the family ranch. However, I didn’t anticipate Mia’s new boss mistaking me for her husband and the father of her child.

The secrets between us may keep us apart in the real world, but a fake relationship... that's a role I'm happy to play for her.

At least until the lines between fantasy and reality begin to blur.

I never should’ve stolen that first kiss. Never should have thought one night would get her out of my system. Never should have grown so attached to her little boy.

When this is all over, Mia and her son will walk away with my heart.

It doesn’t matter though, it’s always belonged to her.

Review:
4 Stars
The blurb of this one sold me on the book. I love a good single mom romance. This one had plenty of heart. Both characters have had feelings for one another, but have kept it a secret. Well a chain of events puts a whole lot into motion. This fake relationship situation may start off a pretend, but there is no denying all too real feelings are at play. Plus Mia is keeping a pretty big secret to herself that could change everything. Oh my gosh did I love Angus or affectionately Gus to little Sawyer. That man had me swooning big time. He steps up for Mia and Sawyer every step of the way. The scenes with Angus and Sawyer just melted my heart. Don't even get me started on the epilogue. That had me a blubbering mess. The thing I loved most about this book was all the feels. It's a book that pulls on the heartstrings.
