This was a fast read for me, but oh so enjoyable! I couldn't put this book down. It had me at single mom, but then add in yummy firefighter Jay. This is a recipe for a great book. I felt for Sarah single motherhood is tough and having a nasty ex makes it ten times harder. Burning her chicken is going to lead her down a path she never saw coming. Though Jay comes off pretty grumpy at first he melts my heart with how he is with little Nora. Then he steps up for Sarah. He becomes such a reliable source of support. This book delivers on all the feels, but it also delivers on the heat. Jay and Sarah have great chemistry. Such a good read. The epilogue was the perfect way to end this one for Jay and Sarah. This book left me with a huge smile on my face.
