I was super excited when I learned about this series. First of all single dad romance is my jam. Then Felicity's brother Weston is the first book. She is from the Landmark Mountain series. Then to my utter delight cameos from that series kept popping up! The single Dad Players Club of the single dads of the football team has already won me over. I was already chomping at the bit for more while in the middle of reading this one. I already know this is going to be favorite series of mine. Not gonna lie this book had the waterworks going. It's so heartbreaking at times, but to see the beauty that came out of a tragic situation mended my heart. Weston and Sadie really show their love for Caleb and how much that little guy means to them. I give Weston a lot of credit when his life gets turned upside down he steps up. He has his teammates and family that are a huge support system for him, but he never imagined how much of one Sadie would become. There is plenty of heart and feels along with the heat. This book also delivers on the humor especially when it comes to the Single dad Players club. I can't recommend this one enough. I just gobbled it right up. It was hard to put down, but also one you want to read slowly so you don't finish it too fast. These characters are going to always own a piece of my heart. Plus for the Christmas lover in me there is a Christmas scene.
