This book had me at single mom romance then the reverse age gap intrigued me. What Julia's ex put her through was terrible and uncalled for. I am not a fan of his. I dislike how he felt like he has a say in her life even after his betrayal. She so deserves to find a man who treats her like a queen she is. Brett even though he is a lot younger he shows her why a second chance at love is worth the risk. They have such great chemistry. I really liked Julia's twin daughters. Both have such different personalities. This book also shows how divorce impacts the children as well because Zoe is struggling. I was also not a fan of Brett's mom through most of this book. She was rubbing my the wrong way. This book delivers on the heart and heat. I loved watching Julia gain her confidence again in life. Beautiful to see. I loved the end of the book and so fitting for this couple. A great read I'm glad that I gave a chance on.
