Review:

3.5 Stars

This is the first book in the series. I loved that the team the guys play for is an AHL team. I just went to my first two AHL games so I know what the excite is about. Lorelai feels like she doesn't fit in with her beautiful model worthy roommates, but she couldn't be more wrong. Now don't be thinking bad about her roommates because they are awesome and have her back which you will see quite often in this book. They give her unconditional support. Reid thanks his lucky stars to be moving next door to Lorelai. She thinks a man like Reid wouldn't want her, but her true authentic self is what draws him. They are adorable together. My heart goes out to Lorelai with what she goes through in this book. Karma needs to make a very quick visit to a nasty piece of work. That's what makes the end and epilogue all the more special for these characters. I did enjoy this book, but I did find myself a little disconnected at times. A roller coaster ride for the characters.
