Heading to a teachers’ conference hundreds of miles away from my small town should have been a nice break. Until I was propositioned by a stranger to be his wife for the next six months. And for whatever reason, I said yes.

This is the third book in the series. I just love this series so much. I love every visit to Sunny Brook Farms. This one is a little unconventional to say the least. A fake relationship/marriage of convenience situation. Rory and Talon really don't know one another, but Talon is in desperate need of her help. Going in neither knew what was instore for them. Talon never had a family like Rory's growing up and he is thrown of how excepting they are of him. It warmed my heart that he finally gets to feel that unconditional love. One of the best things for me is what Talon finds out about his mom. A beautiful moment for sure. Talon had no clue how much he was going to get out of this arrangement. I love that Rory brings out a whole new side to Talon. The softer less grumpy side no one really sees. I love that Talon describes Rory as a sunrise she is all light that Talon needs so much. Not gonna lie I was very iffy of Talon in the beginning, but as the layers were pulled back he endeared himself to me. Plus no denying how he treats Rory what his true colors are. Plus he has such a great relationship with his grandma. She knows who her grandson is deep down. Glad she could see the best of him shine through so much. This is a must read. I loved the sense of humor in this one as well. This is a hard book to put down!
