This book had me at the blurb and tropes. A Single mom romance and a hero that needs some healing sounds like my kind of book. I just gobbled it right up. The characters stole my heart. Kyle's backstory while serving pulled on my heartstrings. Then meeting Tina and her kids pulled on the rest of them. Callie is struggling with moving on and their new normal with the loss of her dad. You can feel the pain and grief rolling off her. Kyle is battling his own pain and demons, but he can't stay away even though he knows he should. This little family of three is so good for Kyle. You can see how much they heal him. Really beautiful. Little Tyler is so adorable, but man he is a little mischief maker with bundle of energy. He keeps everyone on their toes. This is a beautiful story that tugs on the heartstrings. Definitely a book you do not want to miss out on.
