This is the first book in this new small town romance series and I am here for it! I loved this book a lot. A good friends to lovers book will get me every time. I just love the history and connection the characters have already formed. I love watching that connection blossom into something beautiful with romantic love. That was what it felt like watching Theo and Ellie. They have been friends really best friends for a long time. They know the ins and outs about each other. It just takes that one moment to show us what has been right in front of us the whole time. I really loved the small town setting. I can already tell you I'm crazy for this group of friends. They are squad goals for sure. I liked some little teases we have gotten for potential books fir this series. It was a fast read for me, but boy was it an enjoyable one!

Kat Savage resides in Louisville, Kentucky with her three beautiful children, her hunky spouse, and two spoiled dogs. She secretly has hope of getting chickens one day.
By day, she’s an office manager, pushing paperwork and daydreaming. When she’s not at her nine-to-five, she’s writing. Or thinking about writing. Or preparing books and book stuff. Or quite possibly, designing stuff for other people’s books.
