This is the eighth book in the series and boy was it so good. I couldn't put this one down. I was so excited to read Lyric and Holt's book. I love Lyric to pieces. Man did her back story just break my heart. Her parents are scum! If anyone deserves what Redemption has to offer it's Lyric. she so deserves the great friendships she has created especially with her BFF Deva. Oh my gosh did Holt make me swoon with Churro. The puddle of goo that big burly policeman turns into. Also the way he takes care of Lyric. Though he sure doesn't make you forget his all man though with his work of art dirty talk with Lyric. Fan yourself moments for sure! I loved Holt's family. Loved even more how they pull Lyric in with open arms. Even his niece and nephew. This book had me hooked and I found myself waking up in the middle of the night to read this one. Not much sleep was to be had because I just had to know what was going to happen next. There is a suspense element to the book as well. What the person did was so unforgiveable. I wanted to hunt that person down to get some justice for Lyric. A must read!!

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand.

Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.
