This book drew me in because 1) the author, but 2) it's a single parent romance. This silver fox single dad has some surprises in tore for the single mom on their impromptu parentmoon. I've never heard of the term parentmoon, but it completes makes sense. Now I'm not gonna lie that Dallas had to win me over because first impressions of him weren't too good. I do wish we got Dallas' point of view earlier in the book because I would have loved to get inside his head to see what was going through his mind when he found out Jo was on the vacation with him. Though I must say getting to know him through Jo revealing snippets of him did won me over. That man does know how to romance. I loved watching Jo come out of her shell that her ex and mom had created. She finds her beautiful self and embraces it with the help of Dallas. This is an enjoyable read to escape for bit in an island getaway!
