*~Release Blitz & Review: Talk of The Town by Jennifer Bardsley~*
Talk of The Town by Jennifer Bardsley is now live!
In this lighthearted romance filled with small-town humor and high jinks, an unsuspecting real estate agent becomes the wildest dream come true for all the single moms—except the one he wants.
They're coworkers, friends, and confidants, but Peter Marshal has always pined for a little something more with Noelle Walters. As a widow and a single mom, Noelle prefers to play it safe, and falling for Peter was never part of the plan.
Then again, neither of their plans accounted for the well-meaning but meddling actions of Peter's sister, who offers him up as their town's most eligible bachelor in the local moms' Facebook group. He's none the wiser about the source of this sudden surge in attention, but he only has eyes for Noelle. And from where she's standing on the sidelines of Peter's popularity, it's getting harder to pretend that she doesn't see what everyone else sees in her best friend.
With all eyes on them, will Peter and Noelle finally see beyond the hurdles to the happily ever after that's been there all along?

Review:
4 stars
This is the first book I've read by this author. I was drawn to this one because it's a single mom, small town, and friends to lovers romance. Those three will hook me right away. It did take me a bit to get into it. I was not a fan of the Mom Facebook group at first. They are some tough customers especially Pete's sister. What I really didn't like how they treated Noelle at first. Though this group of ladies did grow on me by the end of this book. I loved Peter right from the beginning. He is a little adorably awkward and oblivious, but I loved the way he is with Noelle and her son. Noelle so deserves someone like Peter. this book shows a lot different life styles and Noelle's upbringing was a tough one that many would not understand. It's made Noelle somewhat of a loner because people don't below the surface to see the awesome kind woman underneath. I really loved the confidence she gains and how she blossoms to the woman she wants to be. Really powerful! I am not a fan of her parents and I see how tough it is on Noelle, but she sticks to her guns not just for herself her son as well.
