This is the first book in a new series by these two awesome authors. I love the sense of humor that Cynthia creates so I knew I had to read this one. I love the quirky citizens of Townsend Harbor. I am here for all what this series has to offer after reading this one. I laughed from beginning to end. I love that the characters are not picture perfect, but actually like everyday people. I struggle with my mental so I can relate to these characters. I so want to be friends with Cady. She sounds like someone I want to hang with. Plus she runs a bookstore a huge bonus. When reading this I definitely felt Cady was based off of one of my favorite authors. Cady and Fox go through one heck of a journey, but it was so worth it. Watching these two a little bot broken characters find something so beautiful together really warmed my heart. I really can't wait for that next book in the series!
