I was looking forward to this one ever since I found out Lukas had a wife in a previous book. They way Autumn and Lukas come together is rather unorthodox to say the least. I wasn't too happy with Autumn's grandparents manipulating her future the way they did. I really loved how Autumn and Lukas wrote letters and emails like pen pals. It gave a personal touch that created a bond neither realized. When Autumn gets the call Lukas was shot it sets up the perfect opportunity for these two to truly get to know one another. It's really a beautiful love story that at times pulls on the heartstrings. For me one of the best things of the book is all the personal heartfelt moments. The web keeps get woven creating a love story. Though there are some barriers to overcome. The family curse one of them and the age gap is a big one for Lukas. Can he see the beautiful future he can have before it's too late?
