First off the cover of this book grabbed my attention right away. It's hard to pass up a book with a baseball player. Then throw in a secret baby, yes please. Even a bigger bonus for me is Sawyer and MeMe are best friends. On one of Sawyer's biggest nights of his life he unknowingly created a miracle. There is a lot of emotion in this one. A lot of hurt and forgiveness between these two friends. Watching Sawyer find his footing with fatherhood really melted my heart. Henry is a little cutie and MeMe is such an amazing mom. I loved the scenes during Christmas. It's my favorite time of year and it made my heart happy to see this little family enjoying the holiday season. A really good book that I just gobbled right up.
