This was a beautiful second chance romance. Simone and Lucas have history and a undeniable connection. Life and fate have these two back together after ten years. There is a big secret being kept. There is a lot of emotion in this one. I teared up a few times while reading. Moments in this book hit me right in the heart. There is plenty of suspense and action to keep me on the edge of my seat. It's a well rounded book. The small town setting also sold me on this book. The characters are going to pull you right into this one. I really loved the big group of friends. They are so squad goals. I'm really looking forward to more from the Carson brothers!
