REVIEW:
4.5 Stars
I really enjoyed this book so much! I loved Willa and Hudson. They meet at a ballgame which I think it way awesome, but why it happens I felt for Willa. Her boss is super creepy glad Hudson played along. Hudson has many swoon worthy moments when it comes to Willa. How he stands up for her and so protective, but he had me when he thinks of Willa's cat. For this cat lover that's sure-fire way to win me over. It's not easy for Hudson to move this fake relationship real because they are a few obstacles in the way. This man doesn't give up that easily though. I loved the humor in this one. I was laughing and chuckling through out. I loved the transformation of Willa. She knows how to stand up for herself. It's a good book that will make you gobble it right up. The characters are awesome. Willa's best friend is a hoot! There moments that were touching and brought a tear to my eye. A perfect blend of heat, heart, and humor.
BLURB:
Willa
When my creepy boss at work won’t take no for an answer, I do what I must. I make up a boyfriend. It should’ve ended there, right?
Nope.
When that same creepy boss, presses me for proof at a company outing––a professional baseball game––I point to someone off in the distance. A guy with his back to me and exclaim, “That’s him! That’s my boyfriend.” When I have no choice but to wrap myself around him, I cross fingers and toes that he’ll play along.
Hudson
I’m a bit startled when a pretty girl with all the curves wraps her arms around me and promises me twenty bucks to play along. The second I saw the weird dude following close behind her, I knew this wasn’t a game––that there was more to her ask than just a bit of fun. So, I did what any single man in this situation would do. I pulled her close and played along.
Of course I played along.
