Except the letter wasn't for me.
My future husband had written it to someone else.

Weston (Ace)
Standing at the altar to watch my best friend get married was an honor.
Finding out that he was sleeping with my girlfriend was a nightmare.
Everything I knew was a lie.
When the opportunity came to get out of town and leave my ex behind, I took it.
Umbrella drinks and broken hearts don't mix well.
I shouldn't want Shelby for myself - but I do.
I want her more than I've ever wanted anyone.

Maybe, she was just mine to hold.

Review:
4 Stars
This is the second book in the series. Weddings are not going as planned for Shelby's family. Shelby herself isn't immune to it because she gets the shock of her life just as she about to say I do. I love a good friends to lovers book, but when it's best friends to lovers it just has such a better connection between the characters. My heart went out to both Shelby and Ace. Being betrayed like that no one should experience. What was the worst day of her life leads her on the path of something so beautiful. Ace and Shelby have burning hot chemistry that I had to fan myself a few times. As a huge baseball fan I love the connection to the game that Shelby and Ace have. That's something that is so relationship goals for me.

Meet Natasha Madison

When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...
