This is the second book in the series. Liam is keeping a secret from everyone and his one confidant is no longer there to support him. Then in comes Penny that changes everything in an instant. I loved that both characters are romance authors a total draw for me. I could relate to Penny's health issues because I deal with a similar situation myself. Liam really has his swoon worthy moments. I loved seeing River again. Love that kid and love that his personality is still shinning bright! There are many ups and downs in this book, but the end is so worth the journey. There are many beautiful moments in this book. Penny and Liam have burning hot chemistry that lights up the pages.
