This is a must read!! I couldn't put this book down. I loved the sense of humor so much. It was one of my favorite things abut this book. Charlie's kids are awesome, but little Briar is quite the personality. She's like an old soul in a 5 year old body. Charlie's family is nuts, but in the best of way in my opinion. There is never a dull moment that's for sure. Something that truly stood out what was Jack and Mae's story. It made me think of my grandparents. It's such a romantic story that pulls on the heartstrings. They are so relationship goals. How Charlie honors Jack's love for Mae touched my heart so much. Then you have Reid and his big gesture. Yeah, this book so had me hooked. I can't say enough good things about it. The characters are awesome and they make you feel like part of this small town. Reid and Charlie are just so good. Their banter was another favorite part of mine. Don't walk, but run to read this one!! Trust me you will be laughing non stop, but also have your romantic heart happy sighing.
