I so enjoyed this book that I couldn't put it down. This is the second book in the series. This book had me at single mom romance and the hero Holt bakes. Yeah, sign me up for former ranger that has turned baker. Hold onto your panties because Holt is going to to make them melt right off. He has many swoon worthy moments in this book. As Cayla says he's a unicorn. He is prime book boyfriend material. Cayla's little girl Maddie is a sweetheart. She has Holt wrapped around her little finger. It's precious along with heart melting. My heart goes out to Cayla. Her ex is a piece of work that comes back to haunt her. Pushed into a situation that should help that's a marriage of convenience, but turns all too real. You can't deny these two have feelings because you can feel it come off the pages. This is a book that has delightful light moments that just make my heart happy sigh, but also moments that were nail biters for sure. This book had humor and heart along with touch of heat and suspense. It's a winning combination for sure. I can't wait for the third book in this series. I have a feeling it's going to be one unforgettable ride.
