This book had me at single dad romance. I'm so glad that I read this one. I just loved Trixie so much. I so want to be friends with her and her girl squad. I love that the people in this small town of Lost Harbor are a beautiful mix of people. Mac and his daughter stole my heart. I loved how they accepted Trixie and her parents. It was one of my favorite things about this book. Mac sees the true Trixie beneath what she shows everyone on the outside. I loved the sense of humor this book has. I chuckled and laughed through out the book. Though this book is mostly light hearted and fun there are some serious topics discussed. It was done very tastefully and brings awareness. The characters in this book are going to hook you right from the beginning. A great eclectic group of characters that make me wish I could go visit Lost Harbor because it feels like a fun place to be. Plus I would so be a regular at Trixie's ice cream shop for sure!!
