This is the second book in the trilogy. Kane and Jojo's journey continues in this book. Oh my gosh this one picks up right where the first book left off with the big bombshell. I loved watching Kane navigate the new role in his life. You can feel the anger he has at his ex and I don't blame him. She's just pure conniving evil. We see a new side to Kane in this one and one that makes really happy. Jojo is dealing with a lot and she still has a big secret she's keeping from Penelope. I have a feeling this little family's world is going to get rocked some more. This book has the right amount of comedic relief at times because this has so heavy stuff going on. There is one more book in this trilogy and based off the cliffhanger this book ended on it's going to be a doozy. I can't wait and I'm going to be impatiently waiting. I need to know what happened! It's a nail biter!
