This one gripped me right from the beginning. It was great for me to truly see Marc redeem himself. He took me on a wicked wild ride in Tris' book. He had me swooning several times in this book. Charlotte just captured my heart. She was put through the ringer in her previous relationship. Life knocks her down, but she has the gumption to keep getting back up with her head held high. A misunderstanding creates the moment that will forever change her life, but for the better. Marc shows her how a man should treat a woman. Charlotte gets to experience the love and loyalty of the Steels and Effisto clan. It did my heart good to see Charlotte and Roxie thrive. That was one of my favorite parts of this book. This is MJ Fields book the grittiness and heat, but also packs the feels. Raw emotion pours of the characters. This series definitely kicked off with a bang and has me wanting more!
