Now I was a little worried about diving into this one because the troupe is one I normally don't read. I gave it a go because Lani Lynn Vale wrote it. I can honestly say this best friend's father/father's best friend didn't faze me at all. I loved that this was Haggard's story. I've been intrigued about his story. Plus Sophia I got to know in the Crossfit Series. I will say that this book ripped my heart right out and left it bleeding on the floor. I thought I was prepared for this book, but after reading it I was no way prepared. This book took me on one hell of ride. Many unexpected twists in this one the blew my mind. Haggard and Sophia have true raw feelings that won't be denied. Life throws these two several curveballs that we make it so important for their support. Lani Lynn Vale worked her magic once again with this one and has me hooked on her new series. I'm already wanting the next book now.
