Another Sheppard brother is causing a stir in his return to Reindeer Falls. Lexi along with me were in for a surprise with Jake. I was skeptical of him in the beginning. First impressions were not his friend, but that man sure knows how to woo Lexi. Jake with the goats after the first initial meeting won me over so I knew it was going to be tough for Lexi. Though Lexi is conflicted because Jake is there to upend her life by turning the goat farm into a golf course. This was a delightful holiday read. The magic of the season is at work for Lexi and Jake.
